Don't Tell Mom {Singleton Days}

Every now and then we are able to have "singleton days".  Dave can work from home once and awhile. So he gets to choose a babe to spend the day with.

It's a fun for us to spend one on one time with the gals.

We are 8 Months Old!

The gals are 8 months {6 months adjusted} today!

We can't believe they have been here this long, but they are doing so amazingly well, despite their early arrival.

Cabbagetown Onesies

This weekend is our neighborhood's yearly festival! It's always a good time & it's great to see our tiny streets packed with people. We usually don't last long, enough to grab a bite of chili, listen to a tune, drink a sweetwater, & snack at a food truck.

The morning kicks off with a 5k {which we usually run in}, but this year we are just too lazy. I'm not gonna lie.  So we will get the girls up early & go cheer people on...with a nice cup of coffee in hand.

Since this is our hood's biggest to do of the year, I wanted to get them onesies that showed a little pride for Cabbagetown. However, when I looked online, I couldn't find anything! Pretty surprising since our town is filled with artists selling their wares.  So I set off to the local craft store!

I really lucked out at Michaels. It was a one and done trip. I got a 3 pack of white onesies, Tulip Fabric Paint {holiday green}, paintbrushes, letter stencils, & a rose stencil. The rose stencil is where I really lucked out. I mean really, who is going to have a cabbage stencil?? The rose was big and blooming, so I figured, hey, paint it green and voilà...a cabbage!

I'm really happy with how they turned out! I can't wait to put them on the girls tomorrow for Chomp & Stomp.

First Gigglefest!

Ava is always the best at making the girls giggle, but this is the first time they both were laughing together! So excited for many more of these events to come!

We are 7 Months Old!

The gals are 7 months today (5 months adjusted)!

They are rolling and scooting all over the place, but have yet to master the crawl. They babble constantly and are perfecting their consonants. Every now and then Maddie throws out a "dada," much to the utter joy of Dave.  They are really enjoying their toys now & gnaw on them constantly. Amelia has already cut her first tooth!

These happy gals keep us on our toes, but are truly content babies. We are so lucky!

Fall Fun

Well, we were hoping to take the gals to do the whole pumpkin patch thing, but honestly we live too intown to make the trek for a few pictures. We decided to run by the grocery store, grab some minis & use the prettiest setting we know. Our place!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day. We got the gals all gussied up in some new dresses & bows that grandma got them & tried our best to capture some good shots. I'm sure our neighbors were laughing at us as we squeaked the giraffe and said "hi girls!" over & and over. In the end we did capture a few good ones.

It's a chilly morning in the ATL!

The girls can't get enough of Ava! She can always make them laugh. So sweet.

We are 6 Months Old!

Half a year. It's crazy to say it. The girls have been here half a year and home with us for 4 months.  Each day they show us how truly amazing they are. Seriously though? I have 6 month olds?

 We are starting to love REAL food! We have tried several different types of food and so far we are pretty impressed. Bring it on mom. We are hungry.

 Dad likes to spend his weekends with the Cowboys crowd. We like to show our support & tend to rock some cowboys slippers ever now and then!

 We are such happy babies. We treat our parents well.

Nothing is better than mom naps.

On the weekends we LOVE to play!

So mom bought us this ball. It is awesome. But she only bought one & that SUCKS, so here is our first bout of sibling rivalry. Good thing mom wised up and bought another ball.

No doubt that mom wants us to go to OWU. She's already started to save her pennies.

We are 6 months old & actually fitting into 6 month jammies!!

We love to play with our BFF Grace. She's so sweet. Here we are out for breakfast at Homegrown.

We love to go for walks. It only took a few minutes for Amelia to pass out.

A huge perk of the south is the fact that we can wear our summer clothes a lot longer than most! Check out our adorable rompers!

Auntie Rachel sent us the cutest leg warmers EVER.
